The afterlife of form.
Zeph Tang is a designer, artist, and researcher based between Melbourne and Beijing, and Art Director of ZephTang Studio. He is a PhD candidate at the Victorian College of the Arts, University of Melbourne, where his research traces the visual genealogies of Chinese book design. His practice spans graphic design, publishing, and image-based work, exploring memory, authorship, and the historical afterlife of form, and examining how visual languages are inherited, repeated, and reactivated across cultural and material contexts. Tang approaches design as both a formal discipline and a method of thinking.
