About

Zeph Tang is a designer, artist, and researcher based in Melbourne. Working across graphic design, publishing, and visual research, his practice explores memory, authorship, and the historical afterlife of form. Through books, printed matter, and image-based work, he examines how visual languages are inherited, repeated, and reactivated across different cultural and material contexts. Moving between design, artistic production, and critical inquiry, Tang approaches visual practice as both a formal discipline and a method of thinking.

His work has been exhibited in China and internationally, including the Xinjiang International Biennale, Shandong International Biennale, D&AD Special Exhibition “Relationship,” Around Publishing Exhibition, Awards360° Design Festival Exhibition, T&ArtCon Exhibition, “Supernova Project” Exhibition, and “Everything Can Fly” Exhibition.

His work has also received recognition from Tokyo TDC, GDC, Hiiibrand, APD, C-IDEA, and the Excellent Book Design in China Award, and has been featured in BranD Magazine.
